TWIA Votes To Increase Windstorm Rates 10%

Date:  9/24/2018 On 7/31/18 the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA) voted 5 to 4 to increase insurance rates by 10%.  The increase will take effect 1/1/2019.  Rates have increased in Galveston 42% in the last 7 years.
